Is there much of a difference between the quality of a professionally produced wedding video and one my friend could do?

• Yes! There is no comparison. III Oaks has taped of 1000 Weddings! Over 12 years of experience shooting weddings each week. In addition, our studio is equipped with all of the latest broadcast quality state of the art digital editing equipment. As members of WEVA (Wedding and Event Videography Association International), we are kept up to date on all the latest equipment and artistic ideas.

• Ask for referrals. Ask your photographer, florist, caterer, wedding shop etc. who they recommend. Many times these companies work well with a particular video company or see the same videographer week after week. Interview at least 3 companies. Ask if they have ever video taped at the location of your ceremony. If you don't have time to visit in person, ask to have a demo video sent to you. Consider each videographers' style and personality. You'll want to work with a videographer you like and trust to produce a Wedding video that will thrill you for a lifetime.

• Like everything else in life, you get what you pay for. Although price is an important consideration, it should not be the determining factor. You probably didn't buy the cheapest ring or dress you could find, don't take chances with the memories of the biggest day in your life. No price is a good price if you are not pleased with the quality and content of your video.

• No. At III Oaks we are continuosly at the cutting edge of new video production technologies. Our production facility is equipped with a state of the art digital editing system which assures you that your video will be the best it can be! However, having the best equipment does not guarantee professional results. We have taped more than 1000 weddings over the years. Our experience, education and attention to each detail separates us from the rest of the industry.

• This depends on your budget. Our most popular package is #2. 9 out of 10 of our brides choose either Package #1 or Package #2. The main reason for this is that they really like the highlight, which comes with those packages. The highlight is a short edited version of your wedding day put to music. You too will love it!

• With our highlight packages, 1 & 2, we begin 2 hrs. prior to Ceremony. Usually when the photographer starts. Pre-Ceremony coverage is 1/3 of your day and a very exciting time. Although we don't usually pose shots, we get alot of our highlight material from the photo session. While you are posing for pictures, III Oaks is creatively capturing each moment paying special attention to each detail. Additionally, Pre-Ceremony coverage will allow you the opportunity to see what the Bride/Groom is doing before the ceremony.

• Think of our Package time as a starting point. If you need a little extra time at the end of the reception, you can hire us in 1/2 hour increments. Unless you know for sure that you are leaving at a particular time, we usually just play it by ear.
